Research-Informed Educational Innovation
Garlington Strategic Solutions builds upon doctoral research conducted by Dr. Benjamin Garlington at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
His research, Addressing Engagement for Cloud-Ecosystem in a Box (CEB), examined research engagement, technology accessibility, and community participation within cloud-based educational ecosystems.
GSS extends this research foundation into practical educational environments through collaborative research, needs assessments, curriculum development, and program evaluation.
Current Research Direction
GSS is developing research initiatives focused on strengthening foundational digital literacy, computational thinking, applied STEM learning, and responsible artificial intelligence education.
Initial research activities emphasize students in grades 3–5, with a long-term vision of expanding educational research and instructional opportunities across K–12 and adult learning environments.
Collaborative Partnerships
GSS seeks to collaborate with educational institutions, school districts, universities, industry professionals, and community organizations to advance innovative learning opportunities.
Our collaborative approach combines academic research, classroom instruction, technology integration, and community engagement to develop sustainable educational solutions.
To strengthen computer science and STEM education throughout Arkansas while developing research-informed models that can be adapted and expanded nationally.
